The Stress Thermometer

The staff of the 2011 Foundations Program is eagerly awaiting the arrival of its pioneer class.  We've been so busy perfecting some last minute details to ensure that move-in day goes as smoothly as possible!  Today we held staff training all day and everyone is so excited for the program to begin.

The Stress Thermometer is a tool we will be using to guage where students stress levels are each day.  A ranking of 1-3 means you're very calm and collected.  4-6 means you're getting anxious, but you'll be OK.  7-9 signals extreme anxiety or panic!  And 10 is impossible.  Here's how a few of our staff ranked this week....
Dianne (demonstrating the Stress Thermometer) looks as if she's near a 1 or a 2, but don't let her fool you!

Christy seems a little more anxious, but looks like she'll be OK.  Let's say she's around a 5.

Considering the look of Lori's desk (who's always so organized), she's probably around an 8!
It looks as if Dana's head is about to explode!  She's got to be near a 10!
Let's hope we all get a good night's sleep tonight and are well-rested for tomorrow!
We can't wait!
